Katie Gehrki Joined the TEAM family in 2013. She holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). She has both local and international treatment experience, providing OT services in NWA and having served in a Special Education School in the Dominican Republic. Additionally, as a TEAMworks volunteer, Katie Gehrki supported Dr. Bo Lin’s efforts to establish a pediatric clinic in China (2015).

At UCA she was a leader in the Acting Creates Therapeutic Success program which encourages individuals with developmental disabilities to express their creativity through acting. As a clinician Katie values creativity and client centered care. Katie enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling and running.

Katie’s additional areas of specialized training include Handwriting without Tears, Sensory Defensiveness: The Wilbarger Brushing Protocol and Pre-chaining/Food Chaining Therapy.
