Amy Smith joined the Children's TEAM family of providers in 2006. Not every career provides an opportunity to work with one’s heroes on a day-to-day basis, but for Amy Smith serving as speech-language pathologist provides such an opportunity. Amy fondly shares, “Children with disabilities and their parents are my heroes!”

Amy received her Master’s in Communication Disorders from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. During her tenure at Children's Therapy TEAM she has served in varied capacities including referral therapist and mentor therapist.

In addition to Amy’s work with children in Northwest Arkansas, she has international experience with assessing and treating children with disabilities in Ukraine and China through TEAMworks International Outreach. She has received additional training professional in PECS, introduction to Early Start Denver Model, LAMP, and Beckman Oral Motor Protocol among other trainings.

Amy enjoys time with her family and friends, reading, baking, and traveling.
