Holly Shuler brings nearly of decade of pediatric experience with her to Children’s Therapy TEAM, having joined the TEAM family in 2016. After completing clinical fieldwork in pediatrics during her doctoral studies in Physical Therapy (DPT, Southwest Baptist University, 2008), Holly went on to serve pediatric populations at Citizens Memorial Healthcare and Motor Monkeys, LLC. in Bolivar, Missouri for eight years. Passionate about serving families, she was instrumental in bringing a rEcess respite program to the First Baptist Church of Bolivar. After receiving training from the 99 Balloons non-profit, she coordinated monthly respite nights for kids with special needs and their siblings while parents enjoyed a respite opportunity of their own. Holly keeps ready access to the latest journal articles in the field of Pediatric PT on an app on her phone. And while she embraces opportunities to glean insight from clinical research, she also balances her clinical approach with a great deal of human warmth. She values building relationships with families and fostering trust.
Having lived in Ecuador until the age of 18, Holly is a bilingual speaker in Spanish and English. She and her husband Richie have two sons, Jack and August. In her free time she enjoys doing crafts with her own kids and leading crafts as a volunteer Sunday School teacher.
