Sydney Young holds a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. During her graduate studies, she served as president of the Rachel Kay Stevens Therapy Center, a probono clinic in the Memphis area. Sydney completed a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology at the University of Arkansas. 

Sydney draws on experience working with children in diverse environments including school, early childhood, and clinical settings. She worked at The Kid’s Studio, a member of the Children’s TEAM family of providers. Sydney completed her graduate fieldwork at Children’s Therapy TEAM and The Grace School, also members of the Children’s TEAM family of providers. Sydney notes, “Getting to join the OT TEAM [as a licensed therapist] was a dream come true!” 

In her work with children, Sydney finds joy in seeing kids progress and make strides large and small. She shares that she is particularly inspired by discovering the little things that excite and engage each child. Sydney attends New Heights Church in Fayetteville. She enjoys going to the lake, walking and hiking with her dogs, mountain biking, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
