As a parent of an autistic child with cerebral palsy, Kym Hannah understands the daily joys and challenges of raising a child with special needs. Pictured with one of her four daughters, Kym embraces her role as a mother, therapist, local and international outreach leader, adoption advocate, and woman-owned business leader.

Kym graduated top in her class from physical therapy school at Arkansas State University. Later she then returned to her native home of Northwest Arkansas. As a physical therapist specializing in pediatric and adolescent care, Kym has experienced a continuum of personal and professional growth that she describes as life-changing.

Kym founded Children's TEAM starting with two therapists in 2000. By 2014 the company was named Large Business of the Year by the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce. In addition to Excellence in Business Honors from the Chamber, Children’s TEAM providers are regularly recognized by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette for being the Best in Northwest Arkansas. Recognitions include Best Pediatric Therapy at Children’s Therapy TEAM, Best Educational Services from The Grace School, and Best Childcare from The Kid’s Studio. 

A woman of faith, Kym brings a heart for service to her leadership. Active in non-profit work, she helped establish the TEAMworks non-profit to serve children locally and internationally. Kym describes her first international TEAMworks trip as particularly life-changing because that is when she met and fell in love with her oldest daughter in a Ukrainian Orphanage. 

Kym is happily married to her husband of over 25 years, Kevin. The couple raises their daughters by modeling a faith-filled life of compassion and care for others.
