Children’s Therapy TEAM’s Co-Founders, Kym Hannah and Cindy Watson, were honored during the first quarter recognition event sponsored by the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce. Each quarter the Chamber recognized the tireless work, contribution to the community and embodiment of the spirit of enterprise embodied by a small business in our region. Honored as the Best Small Business of the Quarter, Children’s Therapy TEAM stands apart as a leader of pediatric therapy care in Northwest Arkansas.
As a winner of the first quarter recognition, Children’s Therapy TEAM is eligible to be considered for Small Business of the Year honors by the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce. Co-Founder Cindy Watson, a long-time resident of the Rogers-Lowell area, shared, “the recognition is a wonderful testament to the exemplary spirit of teamwork shared by all the therapists and staff at Children’s Therapy TEAM. It continues to be our great honor to serve the Rogers-Lowell area and the surrounding region.” As a supporter of small businesses, the Chamber points to the strong role of such businesses in our community noting, “small businesses are the backbone of America’s economy.”
During the Chamber presentation by Kelli Gemmell, Director of Business Development for the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, Kelli shared: “There were several outstanding and well deserving nominees, which made for a very difficult decision. The winner for the first quarter of 2016 is a true example of not only a successful business, but one that gives back to the community. They have grown their business from a handful of clients to now serving well over 700 clients across the region in just a few short years. They have expanded their operations and now have three locations to better serve their clients. Employees volunteer with organizations and causes they are passionate about and the business itself is involved in many charities and non-profit organizations. It is with great pleasure from the Small Business Council that the first quarter of 2016 Outstanding Small Business of the Quarter is presented to Children’s Therapy TEAM.”
