Drawn to Children’s Therapy TEAM’s emphasis on faith and missions in the local and global community, Kelley Humbard joined the TEAM family in 2016. Kelley completed her fieldwork training at Children’s Therapy TEAM under the direction of Melissa Foster, OTR/L. Earning her Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas (2015),Kelley also draws on her strong background in early childhood development to engage young children. She feels strongly that play should be utilized as a primary tool for promoting learning and growth, particularly for young children. Kelley completed a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Sciences with a concentration in Child Development in 2013. During her studies she served at the Jean Tyson Child Development Study Center in Fayetteville, AR. As a licensed therapist at Children’s Therapy TEAM, Kelley embraces opportunities to, in her words, “work alongside other dedicated individuals to make a lifelong difference in the lives of children and families.”
Kelley is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Arkansas Occupational Therapy Association. When not treating children, Kelley enjoys anything outdoors with family and friends. She and her husband Mitchell spend a lot of time canoeing, boating at the lake, hunting and working on their family farm.
