This week Hanger Clinic in Springdale made a special visit to Children’s Therapy TEAM to offer a myoelectric demonstration. The demonstration featured Gracie, daughter of Children’s Therapy TEAM OT Julie Marvin. During the demonstration we saw Gracie control the artificial hand with her own naturally generated electrical impulses. The impulses are sent when Gracie contracts muscles in her arm.
