Lorrie Fleming completed her Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2014. Before joining the TEAM family Lorrie served at Pediatrics Plus in Little Rock. There she provided care to children with special needs within a developmental preschool as well as on an outpatient basis. She enjoys opportunities to educate parents on sensory integration home programs, behavior modification, fine-motor and self-care skills. Lorrie’s diverse leadership experiences include supporting Feed My Starving Children through helping to establish Northwest Arkansas’ first Tacos for Life restaurant. This restaurant provides a meal to a hungry child for every meal that is sold. In 2013 Lorrie similarly found herself at the forefront of an initiative to better the lives of others. While completing an independent study in Nicaragua, she founded a program called “Another Chica’s Treasure” to enrich the occupational opportunities of mothers living in poverty. She shares, “I have a passion for traveling, missions, and helping people of all cultures.” Lorrie enjoys spending time with family and friends. She notes, “I’m always up for fun adventures with friends, whether that’s spending time on the lake or shopping at flea markets.” In addition to her affinity for being outdoors, Lorrie also enjoys cooking and hosting dinner parties.
